Back Together. Stronger Than Ever.
We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming generosity of our ACA family and our extended community of individuals and schools across the country. Your prayers, encouragement, and support mean more to us than words can express.
Dear ACA Family,
One year ago, Hurricane Helene devastated our 55-acre Asheville Christian Academy campus. The flood took away our home—but in losing it, we found our true community. Whether worshiping at Biltmore Church or practicing on borrowed fields, “home” became anywhere we were together. That is what God’s people are called to do. That is what the Church is meant to do.
Today, almost one year later, our school building is complete. Looking back, we can only say: “Look what God has done.” This milestone is a testament to His faithfulness and to the extraordinary strength of our students, families, staff, faculty, and donors who refused to let hardship define us.
And now, we are looking ahead with excitement. With the help of generous donors who stood beside us during recovery, we are beginning construction on a new multi-purpose field and eight-lane track. Track and field has become our single largest athletic program, and this facility will enhance the student experience, meet rising demand, and serve as a blessing to the entire Asheville Christian family. Parents will be able to use the track while children are in school or at practice—further expanding ACA’s sense of community and wellness. This new gathering point will host students, families, and community events, strengthening the culture we have built together.
Our commitment to our neighbors has also deepened. In the past year we have hosted 9 community events—including six food markets and a back-to-school event with Convoy of Hope that served 900 people. As a tangible demonstration of our commitment to give back to the area, a portion of the gifts received for our campus rebuild will be presented to the Swannanoa community.
We invite you to partner with us in this new season of growth. Together we can continue to transform challenges into opportunities and build a legacy for generations of ACA students.
With gratitude and hope,
William Jason Putnam
