Lower School

ACA understands that the elementary years are an important time in the life of children. It is during this time that basic beliefs, concepts, and life principles are formed. Therefore, we place a strong emphasis on the basic fundamentals of Truth and education, striving to provide a safe, Christian learning environment where students can reach their full spiritual and academic potential. It is our desire to partner with parents to train and mold children to love, follow, and serve the Lord. The integration of faith and learning enables students to develop a biblical worldview to filter their ideas, thoughts, and actions.

Students in ACA’s lower school program are challenged with multi-sensory, innovative instruction and collaborative strategies. Strong academics provide a solid foundation for a college preparatory path. The lower school is blessed with gifted faculty pursuing a calling for Christian education. All faculty members are required to have a bachelor’s degree and are certified through ACSI. Lower school teachers have also completed a 40-hour multisensory structured language program. ACA teachers are lifelong learners committed to continued professional development.

One of the greatest privileges of being a student at ACA is the opportunity to worship together in chapel each week.  ACA desires to be a conduit, by which the Holy Spirit creates outward-facing, Christ-reflecting students.   Lower school students will participate in missions – both local and global.  Throughout the year, there are various opportunities to serve in projects geared toward giving the students a chance to share the love of Christ.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20 English Standard Version (ESV)
